A portion of every successful fund recovery we complete is donated directly to four extraordinary organizations — because doing right by our clients means doing right by our community.
"Every dollar we recover for a family creates a ripple. We give a piece of every success to warriors who bled for our freedom, children fighting for their lives, families rebuilding from nothing, and kids in Mesa who just need a safe place to grow."
— Powell, Founder · Rightful Returns Recovery · Phoenix, Arizona
These organizations don't just do good work — they do the work no one else will. We are proud to stand behind each of them.
Since 2003, the Wounded Warrior Project has been the gold standard in veteran care — providing mental health services, career counseling, peer support networks, and long-term rehabilitation to injured post-9/11 service members and their families.
These men and women ran toward danger so we could live safely. They came home carrying invisible wounds — PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, loss of limb, loss of identity. WWP walks beside them in that recovery, for as long as it takes.
Because freedom isn't free — and the people who paid that price deserve our unwavering support long after the uniform comes off.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the world's premier centers for pediatric cancer research and treatment. Their mission is absolute: no child is denied care because of a family's ability to pay. Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
Because of St. Jude, the overall childhood cancer survival rate has climbed from 20% to more than 80% since it opened. They freely share their research discoveries with scientists and hospitals worldwide.
Because no parent should have to choose between saving their child's life and paying their mortgage — and no child should face cancer alone.
The Salvation Army operates in 131 countries and is one of the largest providers of social services in the United States. They feed the hungry, provide disaster relief, offer addiction recovery programs, run homeless shelters, and assist families in crisis — every single day, without asking about background, belief, or ability to pay.
They show up when everything else falls apart. After hurricanes, fires, floods, and personal crises — The Salvation Army is there first and stays last.
Because recovery — whether financial or personal — sometimes starts with a warm meal, a roof, and someone who simply doesn't turn you away.
Sunshine Acres Children's Home in Mesa, Arizona has been providing a safe, nurturing, family-style home for children in crisis since 1954. They serve kids who have been removed from dangerous or unstable situations — giving them stability, education, love, and a real chance at a healthy future.
Sunshine acres is special to Powell he volunteered his background in pool building to design a fun swimming pool where they could all enjoy swimming and activites. Sunshine acres is like donating to habitat for humanity where they use doors or furniture to build homes for the less fortunate. What makes Sunshine Acres extraordinary is their model: children live in houses with house parents, forming genuine family bonds. No child ages out alone. This is our hometown charity, and it holds a very special place in our hearts.
Because these are Arizona's children — our neighbors' children — and every one of them deserves safety, stability, and someone in their corner.
Rightful Returns Recovery is based in Phoenix, Arizona. Sunshine Acres Children's Home is right here in Mesa — a cause we can see and touch and visit. Supporting local organizations isn't just good business — it's who we are as neighbors in this community.
When we find and recover surplus funds for you, a portion goes directly to these four organizations. There is no extra cost to you — it comes from our fee, only after your recovery is successful. Let's find your money and do some good together.
